DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center
The DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center provide the space for a gymnasium (basketball and pickle ball), co-location spaces for other health professionals (counseling, therapy etc.), adaptive fitness/exercise equipment, and a recreation/wellness space that is lacking from the DAC’s main facility. Design includes a 50 ft. x 42 ft. basketball court in the gymnasium portion of the center that also includes an area for lockers, restrooms, and spectator seating. The center includes two customizable office type spaces for therapy, counseling, and/or related wellness services. Total square footage for the main level of the wellness center is approximately 5,500 sq. ft., not including a below grade basement storage area. The construction includes partial slab on grade for the PEMB gymnasium portion with a multi-story partially below grade block foundation and concrete footer. Project plans allow for the center to be a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The wellness center parking lot will be asphalt paved and lined for parking stalls and two (2) full accessible parking stalls. The sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, and curbs will be concrete and tie into the existing asphalt on Leonard Ave. Lighting, landscape, and signage will all be aligned with the City of Fairmont building codes and standards of use.
Sealed qualifications will be received by Omni Associates-Architects, Inc. at 207 Jefferson Street, Fairmont, WV, 26554, until 1:30 PM E.S.T. on Friday, March 21, 2025. Once it has been determined that all statements of qualifications have been submitted in accordance with the requirements listed in the full copy of the RFQ, a selection committee will evaluate the submissions. All interested parties must request a full copy of the RFQ, which includes all submittal requirements.
