PUBLIC NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ONLINE SALE OF SURPLUS AND OBSOLETE VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
The City of Fairmont will be auctioning surplus and obsolete vehicles and equipment online via GOVDEALS.COM. Except as specifically identified, all items listed herein will be sold to the highest bidder for any sum found to be fair and adequate consideration by the City of Fairmont.
The online auction is set to begin on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 and will conclude on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The exact time/date of concluding auction items will be listed on each item’s auction page and will be determined by the purchasing coordinator and/or the department supervisor. Time/date is subject to change, view Govdeals.com for update information.
The City of Fairmont reserves the right, without further notice, to extend the auction, withdraw an item, auction an item at a later time/date, immediately halt any sale, amend the minimum bid amount, re-bid the item at a later date and time, or take any other action with regard to any item of said property or such sale in the entirety which is deemed advantageous to the City of Fairmont.
All interested parties should register as a bidder on Govdeals.com and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth under their guidelines, which can be viewed by visiting https://www.govdeals.com/register/registration/terms. Bidders will also be able to view descriptions of surplus, ask questions, view the location and schedule an appointment to see the item.
