Notice is hereby given that LP MINERAL, LLC, 3748 Dents Run Blvd., Suite A, Morgantown, WV 26501 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 292.84 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200314 to operate a surface mine with augering in the Waynesburg-Monongahela GP, Waynesburg A-Dunkard GP, and Washington-Dunkard GP seam of coal and all splits thereof. The proposed operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Little Paw Paw Creek of Paw Paw Creek of Monongahela River and is located 1.5 miles East of Grant Town (Nearest Post Office) in Paw Paw District of Marion County, Longitude 80°09’06” Latitude 39°33’46”.

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 16th, 2025, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
