PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Mannington is accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of asbestos of six structures in Mannington, WV. Specifications: All materials must be disposed of at an approved solid waste facility and the site must be seeded and graded when removal is completed. Additional information is available at city hall. Any State or City permits will be the responsibility of the contractor. Bidders must include a copy of their state and city business licenses and proof of insurance with their bid. A 5% bid bond must also be included with your bid along with a performance bond. All questions to be submitted by 4:00 pm on June 23, 2025, to Mayor Lora Michael. Bids will be accepted at the City Clerk’s Office, City of Mannington, 206 Main Street, Mannington, WV 26582 until 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Please mark “Demolition Sealed Bid” on the outside of the envelope. City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
