RALEIGH COUNTY CODE ENFORCEMENT ORDINANCE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is notice that on the 10th day of July, 2025 in the Raleigh County Commission Courtroom at 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia, at 4:00 PM, the Raleigh County Planning & Zoning Board of Raleigh County, West Virginia, will hold a public hearing for the consideration of changes to the Raleigh County Planning & Zoning ordinance. Changes will be considered to the following chapters:
Planning & Zoning Changes
Chapter 6 Sign Regulation
Chapter 8 Article 8C Prohibited Uses
Chapter 9 Article 9C Prohibited Uses
Chapter 10 Article 10A Principal Permitted Uses
Chapter 10 Article 10B Conditional Uses
Chapter 11 Article 11B Conditional Uses
Appendix A Definitions
Appendix B Zoning Amendment Petition
Appendix C Board of Zoning Petition
A Copy of the proposed amendment may be reviewed in the office of the County Commission located at 116 ½ North Heber Street, Beckley, WV.
Any person wishing to be heard concerning this matter should be present at the time and place indicated above. Written comments concerning this matter received by July 9th, 2025 will be considered.
