Notice is hereby given that APPALACHIAN AGGREGATES, LLC, 171 ST CLAIRS CROSSING, BLUEFIELD, VA 24605 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for a Phase 3 release on Permit Number Q000183 issued for 446.31 acres.
The permit is located in SHADY SPRING District of Raleigh County, 2.70 miles South of GLEN MORGAN on Unnamed tributary of Glade Fork of Beaver Creek of Piney Creek of Lower New River.
APPALACHIAN AGGREGATES, LLC completed final reclamation on 3/12/21 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $14,450.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until May 26, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
