The City Council for the City of Princeton, WV, meeting in regular session of Monday, the 14th day of June, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 800 Bee Street, Princeton, WV, will conduct a public hearing on the following:
THE USDA RURAL HOUSING SERVICE HAS RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE CITY OF PRINCETON. THE PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE PURCHASING OF EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT (DEFIBRILATOR / MONITOR) FOR THE CITY OF PRINCETON, FIRE DEPARTMENT. THIS NOTICE ALSO IS TO INFORM OF A PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD ON JUNE 14, 2021, AT 6:30 P.M. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING THIS PROJECT AND TO COMMENT ON ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS, SERVICE AREA, OR ALTERNATIVES TO THE PROJECT.
The USDA requires that the general public be given the opportunity to respond in an open forum to the proposed uses of said grant funds as outlined in the application. At the public hearing any interested citizen may appear and be heard.
