The Commission of Raleigh County (Commission) will hold hearings on June 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley, WV 25801 on the following abandoned unsafe properties:

1) 432 Bailey Ave., Beckley, WV, Town Dist., Tax Map 1005, Parcel 114 (owned by Bessie L. Stewart c/o Jeremy R. Lilly); 2) 137 3rd St., Bradley, WV, Town Dist., Tax Map 8006, Parcel 15 (owned by David A. Wriston & Rebecca Hamro); 3) 111 Rogar Ln., Stanaford, WV, Town Dist., Tax Map 6006, Parcels 13 & 14 (owned by estate of Mary L. Webb c/o Chastity Boyd); 4) 136-191 Nine Bark Dr., Maple Fork, WV, Town Dist., Tax Map 4A, Parcels 1 & 2 (owned by Robert L. The purpose is to address complaints above from the Raleigh County Property Safety Enforcement Agency (RCPSEA). The RCPSEA determined these properties are unsafe, unsanitary, dangerous, or detrimental to the public safety or welfare. The RCPSEA recommends that the Commission order the land owner(s) to demolish the unsafe structure(s), demolition debris, and associated junk & garbage located on the above property within 60-days, and in the event the owner does not comply with the order, the Commission then perform the work, at cost to property owner.
