NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Kingston Mining, Inc., P.O. Box 69, 622 Packs Branch Road, Pax, WV 25904 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 13.93 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25804 for renewal of Article Permit Number U300601 to operate a deep mine facility in the Douglas seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Milburn Creek and shotgun Hollow of Paint Creek and road Branch of/and White Oak Creek of Clear Fork of Big coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River and is located 4.5 miles northwest of Pax in Valley and Clear Fork Districts of Fayette and Raleigh Counties, Longitude 81deg.18″36″ and Latitude 37deg.57’57” (coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 24th, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
