NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Common Council for the City of Beckley is accepting bids from qualified firms for milling and paving of streets named Myers Avenue, “E” Street, Hull Street (Elkins Street to Berry Street), Holiday Drive (Teel Road to Pikeview Drive).
Complete specifications and bid information may be obtained from the Beckley Public Works Department at 401 Adair Street, Beckley or by calling 304 256-1740, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. on July 13, 2021. They will be publicly opened and read aloud during a meeting of Common Council at 6:30 p.m. that same day. Bids must be submitted to the Recorder-Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked to indicate contents. Bids may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street, or mailed P.O. Box 2514, Beckley, WV 25802-2514. Any bids that arrive after the specified date and time will not be considered.
The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
