In accordance with West Virginia State Code, Concord University announces that it will conduct a public sale of surplus items by sealed written bid. The items to be disposed of by this sale can be viewed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (work days only). The items to bid on are 6 vehicles (2004 Dodge Durango, 1992 Dodge Ram350, 1998 Chevrolet Lumina, 2001 Dodge Van, 2001 Dodge Intrepid, and 2001 Dodge Van), 1 Lot of Dishes (10 White Totes of Plates and Bowls), 1 Lot of Electrical Ballasts and Light Bulbs (12 White Totes), 1 Lot of Stainless Steel Pans (8 Containers), John Deere Landscape Rake, Potato Peeler, Ryan Aerator, Turf-Vac Sweeper, Massey Ferguson 135 Tractor, Sweeper Attachment, Viacon Spreader, Highlander Jr. Salt Spreader, Handgun Sprayer (110 Gallon), Gulf Stream Travel Trailer, 2 Sky King Milk Dispensers, and 2 True Refrigerators. Bid forms are available at the Maintenance Building. All bid forms MUST BE SIGNED and DATED. Written Bids clearly marked Concord University ATTN: Andrea Webb PO Box 1000 Athens WV 24712 will be accepted ONLY until 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2021, in Concord University Procurement Office (Marsh Hall, Room A223). Bids will be awarded to the highest bidder. The successful bidder will be contacted and will be required to pay by July 21,2021 with removal of purchased items by July 28, 2021.
The prospective buyer is responsible for verifying quality and quantity before removing the product. The successful bidder is responsible for all moving and freight costs. The successful bidder will be responsible for dismantling if required, wrapping and preparing for transport.
CONCORD UNIVERSITY REQUIRES CASH OR CASHIER’S CHECK FOR PAYMENT FOR SURPLUS ITEMS. THE UNIVERSITY WILL NOT ACCEPT A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD FOR PAYMENT. NOTE: ALL SURPLUS ITEMS NOT PAID FOR OR REMOVED FROM THE CONCORD CAMPUS BY JULY 28, 2021 WILL VOID AN AWARDED BID AND NO REFUND OF PAYMENT(S) WILL BE AUTHORIZED FOR VOIDED BID(S).
Concord University reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The University takes no responsibility and makes no guarantees for items sold. All property is offered for sale on an “as is-where-is” basis. No warranties or guarantees are implied or given.
