The Raleigh County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the sale of a 24×52 Modular House (1248 sq ft): located at the Academy of Careers and Technology, 390 Stanaford Road, Beckley, WV 25801. (Beside Woodrow Wilson High School)
Description of House to be Sold:
24×52 Modular house (1248 sq ft): 3 Bedrooms; Living room; Combination Kitchen and Dining room , Utility room, and two (2) Full Baths. The kitchen, dining area, living room, and hallway have oak hard wood flooring. The three (3) bedrooms have carpet; the utility room and bathrooms have ceramic tile flooring. Kitchen includes peninsula hard wood cabinets, Formica top and stainless sink. The two baths have white vanities and china tops, combination tub and shower unit and exhaust fans. Utility room is wired and plumbed for washer and dryer with 40 gallon electric water heater. Double hung vinyl windows with screens; 6 panel interior doors with painted trim; metal insulated exterior doors; rear sliding glass door; 30 year warranty architectural shingles; ceiling fans; vinyl siding; vinyl shutters on all windows; smoke detectors; doorbell; entrance lights in front, side and rear; 200 Amp service. Interested bidders may view the house Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am til 2:00 pm at the Academy of Careers and Technology, 390 Stanaford Road, Beckley, West Virginia.
Acceptable high bidder must provide a ten percent (10%) nonrefundable good faith deposit within twenty-four (24) hours of bid opening. The high bidder must also complete payment within thirty (30)days from date of sale and is responsible for transporting of house from school property within sixty (60) days from date of sale.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make selections as is deemed to be in the best interest of Raleigh County Schools.
