NRCTC SURPLUS PUBLIC SALE
The New River Community and Technical College (NRCTC) will conduct a public sale of surplus items, by sealed, written bids only. The location of the sale is the Advance Technology Center, 527 Odd Road, Ghent, WV, 25843. The items can be viewed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, July 20, 2021 through Thursday, July 29, 2021 during these hours only. The Campus is closed on Fridays. To comply with NRCTC’s current guidelines regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, all bidders, that have not been vaccinated, are required to wear mask to view items. Social Distancing is required; therefore, only five (5) bidders will be permitted in the building at a time.
Prospective bidders must obtain a bid sheet and must complete one bid sheet for each individual item. A date/time stamp machine and locked box will be available for bidders to place their sealed bids. Bids will be tabulated and awards will be made to the highest bidder. After the successful bidder(s) is notified, all items must be paid for and removed from NRCTC property by Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Payment is required before the property can be removed and the removal is the responsibility of the successful bidder. NRCTC WILL ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, CASH and CERTIFIED CHECKS FOR PAYMENT OF SURPLUS SALE ITEMS. AWARDED BIDS WILL BE VOID IF ITEMS ARE NOT PAID FOR BY 3:00 p.m. ON AUGUST 5, 2021.
