RE: 219 Highland Ave. Order to Demolish

Dear Mr. McDowell,

The City of Oak Hill by order of the Council requires you to demolish the residential structure located at 219 Highland Ave., situated on Lots 28 ½, 29 Rosemont Add., District 9, Map 38, Parcel 5, Parid 09 3800050000000 in Oak Hill.
The Council of the City of Oak Hill requires performance to begin within 20 days following service of this order. Council will consider a resolution authorizing the City to perform, or caused to be performed, the demolition in question upon the failure of you to do so. This resolution will be considered during the next regular Council meeting following the expiration of the period of time given to you for the demolition of the structure. City Council meets the second Monday of each month. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. or shortly after. Due to the Covid outbreak, you may attend the meeting via Zoom. Appeal is to the Circuit Court of Fayette County for a temporary injunction restraining further proceedings under Article 11.04.030 (J) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Oak Hill pending final disposition of the cause.
