Notice is hereby given that CORNERSTONE MINING, LLC, 150 COURTHOUSE RD., PRINCETON, WV 24740 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 462.47 acres in order to Operate a contour, surface, auger, and highwall mine in the Pocahontas No. 6 and Pocahontas No. 7 seams and splits there of seam of coal. Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until November 13th, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
