Notice is hereby given that Panther Creek Mining, LLC, 250 W. Main Street, Suite 2000 Lexington, KY 40507 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 44.35 acres in order to surface mine and auger/highwall mine in the Eagle — Kanawha; Powellton—Kanawha seam of coal.
The proposed operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributaries of/and Toms Branch of Paint Creek of Kanawha River and is located 2.90 miles, southwest of Powellton in Cabin Creek District of Kanawha County, Longitude 81deg. 22′ 09″ and Latitude 38deg. 04′ 43″.

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until November 6th, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
