FRM Long Range Transportation Plan Amendment
The Fayette-Raleigh Metropolitan Planning Organization (FRM) has prepared a Draft Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Amendment. The Draft LRTP Amendment will be available for a 30-day public review from Thursday, October 14th to Friday, November 12th and can be accessed on the FRM website at www.frmpo.org or at the FRM office located at 885 Broad Street Suite 100, Summersville, WV 26651. We ask that you call FRM at (304) 872-4970 in advance if you would like to review the Draft LRTP Amendment at the FRM office.
As the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Fayette and Raleigh Counties, FRM is required by federal law to produce a long-range transportation plan (LRTP) and update it every five years. The LRTP is a multi-modal plan that identifies recommended improvements to the transportation system for the next 25 years. Following this public review period, FRM will consider the public comments and finalize the LRTP Amendment for Policy Board approval by the end of this year.
