Notice is hereby given that RESILIENT MINING LLC, 799 HIGHWAY 3459, HARLAN, KY 40831 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 10.73 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U301210 to operate a deep mine in the Big Eagle seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Stop Hollow and unnamed tributary of/and Armstrong Creek of Kanawha River and is located 1.0 miles, southeast of Kimberly in Vally District of Fayette County, Longitude 81 18′ 2″ Latitude 38 7′ 15″
