NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and a second Public Hearing set for Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the Ceremonial Courtroom on the 2nd floor of the Raleigh County Courthouse located at 215 Main Street, Beckley, West Virginia 25801. The purpose of the two (2) Public Hearings is to allow the Civil Service Commission to hear from any interested party, including the Sheriff, any Deputy Sheriffs, any Raleigh County residents, or any other interested parties regarding a proposed change by Sheriff, Scott VanMeter in the Rules and By-Laws of the Raleigh County Deputy Sheriff Civil Service Commission regarding Section V Promotions and Service Ratings. All individuals present must wear a face mask at all times.
