Notice is hereby given that RESILIENT MINING LLC, 799 HIGHWAY 3459, HARLAN, KY 40831 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 15.1 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O-3011-10 to other – Haulroad Only in the N/A seams of coal.
The operation is discharging into Stop Hollow and Unnamed Tributaries of Armstrong Creek and Armstrong Creek of Kanawha River and is located 0.7 (miles), southeast of Kimberly in the Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81 o 17 ‘ 51 ” and Latitude 38 o 07 ‘ 39 ” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until December 18, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
