NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY FOR THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND FONSI FOR THE PROPOSED AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK SITE PREPARTION PROJECT LOCATED AT THE RALEIGH COUNTY

The Raleigh County Memorial Airport hereby gives Notice of the Availability (NOA) for the Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed Airport Industrial Park Site Preparation Project. The proposed project will develop approximately 105 acres of property to the west of the existing airport facility. The EA has been prepared in accordance with the regulations for implementing the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), (Public Law 91-190, 42 USC 4321- 4347 January 1, 1970), amendments. The Final EA/FONSI documents that the project is consistent with FAA Order 1050.1F, Environmental Impacts: Policies and Procedures, FAA Order 5050.B, NEPA Implementation Instructions For Airport Actions, and with existing national environmental policies and objectives set forth in Section 101 of NEPA, Council on Environmental Quality regulations, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Executive Order 11990 Protection of Wetlands, and all other applicable special purpose laws.
