Notice is hereby given that RESILIENT MINING LLC, 799 HIGHWAY 3459, HARLAN, KY 40831 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 10.65 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U300801 to operate a deep mine in the Big Eagle seam of coal.

The operation is discharging into Glenco Hollow of Loop Creek of Kanawha River and is located 1.4 miles, northeast of Kincaid in Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81 14′ 19″ Latitude 38 2′ 12″

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until January 3th, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until January 3th, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
