LEGAL NOTICE
The Clerk of the Fayette County Commission hereby gives notice to the citizens of Fayette County of a nonpartisan judicial election for an unexpired term of Magistrate, Division IV, to be held concurrent with the primary election on May 10, 2022, as ordered by the Honorable Circuit Court of Fayette County pursuant to W. Va. Code § 50-1-6. The candidate filing period for this vacancy shall start January 10, 2022 and run until January 29, 2022. All interested parties must timely file a certificate of announcement and pay the statutory filing fee prior to January 29,2022. Filings that are mailed must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service before midnight E.S.T. on January 29,2022.
