FIRST AMENDED EMERGENCY ORDER GRANTING TEMPORARY CUSTODY and SETTING PERMANENCY HEARING FOR FEBRUARY 1, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
On October 1, 2021 the petitioner filed a petition filed a petition for appointment as guardian of the minor child, Grace Marie Tonin. It is alleged in the petition that infant’s mother, Tiffany Tonin is deceased and the biological father, Ross Jones, Jr.’s whereabouts are unknown.
The court finds that, pending the hearing date, emergent circumstances exist that mandate the award of temporary legal and physical custody of Grace Tonin to the petitioner. This is in the best interests of the infant and based upon the facts of the petition, the minor’s health and well-being could be jeopardized if this custodial relationship is not established. Based upon the same, it is ORDERED that temporary legal and physical custody of Grace Tonin is GRANTED and will remain in place until further order of the court. The hearing will be held on February 1, 2022 at 3:00p.m.
