NOTICE
Pursuant to West Virginia Code Section 16-18-7, this advertisement is intended to provide notice that the Fayette County Urban Renewal Authority (the “Authority”) is selling the property commonly known as Wolf Creek Business Park (“Wolf Creek” or the “Property”). Wolf Creek is a publicly owned live, learn, work, and play community located just outside downtown Fayetteville, and less than a mile off US Route 19. Labeled one of the “Coolest Small Towns in America,” Fayetteville is adjacent to the New River Gorge offering a variety of out- door activities like rock climbing, rafting, mountain biking and hiking.
The Property consists of over 920 acres, with approximately 175 acres of developable forested land. The property is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD).
Seller Requests the following information from interested buyers no later than February 28, 2022:
–A brief description of the purpose and plan for the Property;
–Development or redevelopment plans, drawings, maps, and any preliminary engineering planned development of the Property;
–A timeline for development or redevelopment of the Property with an estimated completion date;
–A letter of credit from a bank or other financial information verifying the purchaser’s ability to fulfill its plans and intended projects for the Property;
–Information regarding current and past development or redevelopment projects and experiences;
–References from other parties from whom a buyer has purchased property for similar development or redevelopment projects; and
–An amount of the purchase offer for the Property.
