TARIFF FORM NO. 10
(Tariff Rule No. 19A)

NOTICE OF FILING

PAGE-KINCAID PUBLIC SERVICE
DISTRICT
CASE NO. 19-0594-PSD-19A

On November 29, 2021, the Page-Kincaid Public Service District filed an Application to Change Rates, requesting that the Public Service Commission of West Virginia (Commission) approve the removal of the Step 2 rates approved in Case No. 19-0594-PSD-19A by Order of December 16, 2019. The result will be that the current rates will remain in effect instead of a rate reduction of approximately 6.81% on average that would have otherwise been effective on December 16, 2021.

Current rates will remain in effect until further order of the Commission. West Virginia Code §24-1-1(k) requires water and sewer utilities that are political subdivisions of the state maintain a working capital reserve in an amount of no less than one-eighth of actual annual operation and maintenance expenses. In order to assure that utilities deliver continuous and complaint service, the Commission, in Case No. 19-0594-PSD-19A, approved a cash working capital reserve. Page-Kincaid Public Service District has applied for Commission approval to maintain the cash working capital increment in its rates to ensure that the cash working capital reserve is properly maintained.

Anyone desiring to protest should file a written protest as soon as possible, but no later than ten days after the date of publication of this Notice. All written protest should briefly state the reason for protest. Absent substantial protest, the Commission may decide the case on the filings. All protests should clearly state the case number and be addressed to Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, PO Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.
