Notice is hereby given that RIVERSIDE ENERGY COMPANY, LLC, P O BOX 460, , BRENTON, WV 24818 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 9.42 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP,1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U400297 to maintain and operate an inactive deep mine in the Pocahontas No. 6 seam of coal. The operation is discharging into the Upper Guyandotte River and Cabin Creek of the Upper Guyandotte River and is located 1.8 miles, southeast of NEW RICHMOND in SLAB FORK District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81-27-13 and Latitude 37-34- 16 (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
