INVITATION FOR BIDS
TAZEWELL COUNTY MOWING/TRIMMING BIDS – 2022
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is accepting sealed bid from qualified persons or businesses for mowing and trimming upon Tazewell County properties for 2022. Please read the following instructions carefully:
(1) Bid packets will only be accepted from businesses who have attended the pre-bid conference, which will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651.
(2) Bidders must show proof of a minimum insurance policy of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00).
(3) Bidders must submit a bid for all locations listed, which will be used to determine the overall bid price. The contract will be awarded based upon overall bid price.
(4) Bids will be opened on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
(5) The bid should clearly be marked on the outside “Mowing Bid” and sent to the County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651.
(6) Without exception, bids delivered after this date and time will not be accepted.
(7) Tazewell County reserves the right to reject all bids; waive informalities; and accept the bid that is in the best interests of Tazewell County.
