The Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority is currently seeking bids for the powertrain rebuild for a Caterpillar D6T track type tractor. The following components must be included in the rebuild:
Engine, Torque, Transmission, Final Drive and Internal Components, Diff steer and Radiator. Powertrain Oil Pump, Implement Pump, Hydraulic Fan Motor and Pump, Steering Pump and Motor. New engine wire harness as well. Emissions equipment must be replaced or repaired to like new specifications. Any hoses that are better replaced with machine torn apart must be replaced. All components must be thoroughly cleaned inside and outside and painted like new. Sealed and lubricated heavy duty tracks, 30″ Extreme service, Trapezoidal pads installed. 8 single flanged, and 8 double flanged rollers. 4 idlers, 2 carrier rollers, sprocket segments, all roller and idler caps, and all new hardware required for installation 44 section track. Must include price to replace hard bar bushings and pivot shaft bearings.
Price must include all materials, labor, freight, and any transportation for the tractor itself. List of standard warranties with price as well as any extended warranties offered. The bid winner will be responsible for ordering all materials needed before the machine may be decommissioned. Bids must be guaranteed for a minimum of 30 days for board approval.
Bids must be sealed and marked “D6T Rebuild”. Bids may be mailed to or dropped off at 200 Fernandez Drive, Beckley W.V. 25801. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, April 5th, 2022. Bids will be opened on April 5th, 2022, at 2:05 pm, at the RCSWA business office, located on 200 Fernandez Drive, Beckley W.V. 25801.
