Notice is hereby given that ICG BECKLY, LLC, PO BOX 49, ECCLES, WV 25836 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 221.88 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U-3011-95 to maintain and operate a deep mine, preparation plant, and refuse disposal facility in the Pocahontas No. 3 seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Marsh Fork of Big Coal River of Kanawa River of Coal River and is located 0.8 miles, Northwest of ECCLES in TRAP HILL District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81 o 15 ‘ 48 ” and Latitude 37 o 46 ‘ 18 ” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 28, 2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
