NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS
To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power plans to manage vegetation along a portion of its 12 and 34.5 kilovolt distribution/transmission system in Raleigh County, W.Va. On or about June 6, 2022, contract crews will begin selectively applying herbicides to brush along our rights of way. Rights of way in the area involved in the program are:
Trap Hill -Fairdale and Surveyor circuits in the Trap Hill, Surveyor, Bolt, Lester, Hotchkiss areas. Slab Fork-Slab Fork circuit in Slab Fork. Stotesbury – Hot Coal circuit in the Coal City, Stotesbury area. Pemberton- Pemberton circuit in the Pemberton, Coal City area.
Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property.
