PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS

Sealed bids for Playground Equipment Installations at Ghent Elementary and Maxwell Hill Elementary will be received by the Raleigh County Board of Education, 2001 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, West Virginia, 25801 on Monday, June 6, 2022, by 3:00 pm EST. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 9:00 am EST.
Neither dating of proposal form nor placing in mail by this date will meet requirements. Proposal form must be received on or before date and time stated.
Bidders must comply with all bidding requirements and conditions set forth in the Project Manual. All bidder’s and bidder’s subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with the West Virginia Contractors Licensing Act.
Bidding documents may be obtained and examined at the Raleigh County Board of Education, Purchasing Department, 2001 South Kanawha Street, Beckley WV 25801 or downloadable from Raleigh County Website RFP/Bids – Raleigh County Board of Education (k12.wv.us).
All Bidders MUST visit job site/sites to familiarize themselves with the Project conditions and other relevant information prior to submitting a bid. Should any bidder fail to visit job site its Bid will be disqualified.Contact Jennifer Colvin, Director Safety at 304-256-4500 for arrangement of visitation to sites.
After the scheduled closing time of receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn fro a period of sixty days. All bidders are required to furnish a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price if bid is over $25,000.00. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the amount of the contract price if contract is over $25,000.00.
