PUBLIC NOTICE
THE CITY OF BECKLEY,
WEST VIRGINIA, REQUESTS PROPOSALS FOR PLANNING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR ITS CDBG AND OTHER
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR FY 2022 THROUGH 2026
The City of Beckley, West Virginia is seeking proposals from qualified planners and/or planning and community development consulting firms to provide professional services for the planning and implementation of the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and other community development activities. The specific services requested by the City of Beckley are detailed in the RFP. A copy of the RFP document may be obtained from the office of Mr. Billie Trump, Recorder Treasurer, City of Beckley, 409 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV 25801, or by calling (304) 256-1759 during normal business hours.
The deadline for submission of proposals is 4:00 P.M. prevailing time, on Monday, June 27, 2022, in the offices of the Recorder Treasurer, City of Beckley, 409 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV 25801. One (1) original and two (2) copies of the proposal are required.
Each proposal will be rated and ranked in accordance with the following criteria,
* Qualifications and experience of the Consultants 0 – 40 points
* Work Plan 0 – 30 points
* Previous experience/work in the City of Beckley 0 – 15 points
* Participation by Small Business Firm, Minority Owned 0 – 5 points
Enterprise, Section 3 (Beckley based) Firm, or Women Owned Enterprise (2.5 points each)
* Rate of Compensation
0 – 10 points
Maximum Points 100 points
