Notice is hereby given that LEXINGTON COAL COMPANY, LLC, 1051 MAIN STREET SUITE 2, , MILTON, WV 25541 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 43.14 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number H063200 to Operate a Haulroad only in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Two Mile Fork, Four Mile Fork and Blake Branch, all of Smithers Creek; and Left Fork of Scrabble Creek of Scrabble Creek of Gauley River and Boomer Branch all of the Kanawha River and is located 0.7 miles, northwest of Boomer, WV in Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81deg. 17′ 45″ and Latitude 38deg. 09′ 34″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
