Notice is hereby given that REPUBLIC ENERGY, LLC, P. O. BOX 69, 622 PACKS BRANCH ROAD, PAX, WV 25904 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840 for a Phase 3 release on Permit Number S301496 Increment Number 1 issued for 17.22 acres.
The permit is located in VALLEY/CLEAR FK District of Fayette/Raleigh Counties, 3.5 miles northwest (Direction) of Clear Creek (Nearest PO) on Unnamed Tributary of Skitter Creek, Big Hollow Milburn Creek and Unnamed Tributary (Primary Receiving Stream) of Paint Creek (Secondary Receiving Stream); and Left Fork, Road Branch, Lick Branch and Unnamed Tributary of White Oak Creek of Clear Fork of Big Coal River (Primary Receiving Stream) of Coal River (Secondary Receiving Stream) of Kanawha River (Major Drainage Basin).
REPUBLIC ENERGY, LLC completed final reclamation on N/A (Date) and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $18,000.00 by being totally over-bonded.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until September 24th, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
