Notice is hereby given that Resilient Mining, L.L.C., 1330 S Mayo TRL (Box 12), 3rd FL STE 302, Pikeville, KY 41501, has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number S-3016-01, Increment numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, and 24. The permit is located in the Valley District of Fayette County, 2.3 miles east of Kincaid on unnamed tributaries of Loop Creek, unnamed tributaries of/and Open Fork of Loop Creek of Upper Kanawha River.
Resilient Mining, LLC completed backfilling and regrading Increment No(s) 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, and 24 on 09/01/2015 and Increment No. 14 on 10/01/2019, and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond in the amount of $1,345,000.00.
Increment No. 11- 18.2 ac – $95,000.00, Increment No. 12- 27.92 ac – $140,000.00, Increment No. 13- 18.33 ac – $95,000.00, Increment No. 14- 46.14 ac – $235,000.00, Increment No. 15- 33.93 ac – $170,000.00, Increment No. 16- 4.68 ac – $25,000.00, Increment No. 17- 46.49 ac – $235,000.00, Increment No. 19- 44.98 ac – $225,000.00, Increment No. 21- 4.95 ac – $25,000.00, and Increment No. 24- 19.24 ac – $100,000.00.
