Notice is hereby given that LP MINERAL, LLC, 3748 Dents Run Blvd, Suite A, Morgantown, WV 26501 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 141.97 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200810 to operate a surface coal mine in the Waynesburg A and Washington seams of coal and all splits of seams thereof. The operation is discharging into Paw Paw Creek of Monongahela River and is located 1.7 miles northwest of Rivesville, West Virginia in Paw Paw District of Marion County, Longitude 80deg. 9′ 24″ and Latitude 39deg. 33′ 21″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 2, 2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
