REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
BECKLEY HOUSING
AUTHORITY
PUBLIC HOUSING PROPERTY POWER WASHING SERVICES

The Beckley Housing Authority (BHA), located at 100 Beckwoods Drive, Beckley, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Public Housing Property Power Washing Services at residential properties owned and operated by the Beckley Housing Authority in the City of Beckley.

One (1) original and one (1) copy of the written proposal must be submitted to Ms. Donna Whitt, Executive Director, Beckley Housing Authority, 100 Beckwoods Drive, Beckley, WV 25801 by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Public Housing Property Power Washing Services.” Only written and sealed proposals will be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Any proposal received after the time and date proposals are due, will be returned unopened.

In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the BHA in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Housing Authority.

Davis Bacon wage rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions do not apply. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities.
