Notice is hereby given that ICG BECKLY, LLC, PO BOX 49, ECCLES, WV 25836 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 14 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O308487 to operate a water treatment facility in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Paint Creek of Kanawha River and is located 3 miles, northwest of Harper in Town District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81deg. 15′ 4″ and Latitude 37deg. 50′ 20″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 10/30/2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until 10/30/2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Raleigh County Clerk’s Office(s) during normal business hours.
