REQUEST FOR BIDS
The MERCER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY (MCSWA) is currently seeking bids for a 4×4 tractor. The machine must meet the following minimum specifications similar to a Massey Ferguson 2605H or approved equal.
Must have a minimum 55 gross horsepower turbo diesel engine and gear driven transmission with shuttle shift. The tractor shall have a minimum weight of 5,000 pounds not including the loader. The tractor must be equipped with hydraulic power steering, four-wheel drive, a rear three-point hitch Cat l & 2 with stabilizers and a ROPS with canopy. The tractor shall have a rear 540 rpm power take off. The new machine shall be equipped with a front-end loader similar to the 911X or approved equal. A loader valve shall be installed to accommodate the loader so that the rear remote hydraulics are not used to operate the loader. The loader shall be equipped with a 72″ quick release bucket. The tractor shall also be equipped with a fire extinguisher and service manuals. The tractor shall have 14.9 x 28 agriculture tires (not turf style tires) and at a minimum the rear tires must be fluid filled. Tractor warranty information must be included with all bids. If manufacture provides a service agreement please include information with the bid.
