HVAC ESSERF PROJECT
Monroe County Schools is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals or firms to provide Commissioning Authority (CxA) Services for the HVAC Scope at James Monroe High School and Monroe County Technical Center, located in Lindside, WV.
The work shall include all services to be in accordance with the Scope of Commissioning Work. These services must have a West Virginia Registered Engineer on their team.
Qualified firms are invited to submit one hard copy of their expressions of interest, to include a statement of qualifications, performance exhibits, WV school project CxA experience and other relevant information no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 28, 2023 at the office of the Monroe County Schools, PO Box 330, 9875 Willow Bend Road, Union 24983 attention Mr. John Ballengee, CSBO, Treasurer. In addition to the hard copy, a pdf must be emailed to Mr. Ballengee, at
[email protected] as well as to the Architect, Mr. Greg Martin at
[email protected].

The Owner’s will evaluate the submitted statements of qualifications and determine the most qualified person or firm to be the Commissioning Agent. Monroe County Schools shall then enter into fee negotiations with the highest ranked firm. In the event that an agreeable fee cannot be negotiated with the highest ranked firm, negotiations shall cease with this firm, and open negotiations with the second most qualified firm, and continue with other firms as necessary until negotiations are successfully concluded.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all statements from interested firms received and to make the award to a firm in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Monroe County Schools and in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-4.
