Request for Proposal (RFP)
I. Purpose:
— The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from vendors to collaborate with Summers County Board of Education to obtain information from our community we serve. 1) Provide online survey to students, staff, and community 2) Provide technical and teaching support 3) Provide data to Summers County Board of Education 4) Adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by FERPA.
II. Background:
Summers County Schools would like to seek a better solution to serve our students by providing a survey to students, staff, and the community.

Timelines
RFP release date: Friday, March 21, 2023
RFP due date: Friday, April 7, 2023 by 4:00 PM Eastern Time
— Summers County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids if they do not serve the needs of the students.
— Proposals will be received at the Summers County Board of Education, Attn. David Warvel, 418 Temple Street, Hinton, WV 25951 ([email protected]) until 4:00 p.m. on April 7, 2023. Proposals may be mailed via U.S. Postal Service, delivered via courier, hand-delivered, or emailed. Fax proposals will not be accepted.
— It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that bids will arrive in the Board’s office prior to the scheduled bid opener. Late submissions will not be accepted and will remain unopened.
Quality Assurance
A signed Memorandum of Understanding/ Agreement (MOU / MOA) between Summers County board of education will be required. This agreement will establish roles and responsibilities and ensure adherence to project guidelines. The successful bidder must be prepared to comply with and assist the Summers County Board of Education in complying with the West Virginia State Board of Education Policies
