SOUTHERN EDUCATIONAL SERVICES COOPERATIVE
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SURVEY

Request for Proposal (RFP)

I. Purpose:
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from vendors to collaborate with the Southern Educational Services Cooperative SESC) to obtain information from counties to use in artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to provide for the potential of expanded business. These surveys would include:
1) Provide an online survey, designed by the SESC, in conjunction with the successful bidder, to the county superintendents
2) Provide technical and teaching support.
3) Provide data to the SESC
4) Adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by FERPA.

II. Background:
SESC would like to seek a solution to increase the numbers of entities with which it conducts business. This survey would provide potential solutions, based off of AI algorithms, to provide more services to entities that use the SESC and encourage other entities to do business with the SESC.

Friday, April 21, 2023
RFP Due date: Friday, May 5, 2023 by 4:00 PM Eastern Time

SESC reserves the right to reject any or all bids if they do not serve their needs.

Proposals will be received at the SESC Office:

Proposals may be mailed via U.S. Postal Service, delivered via courier, hand-delivered, or emailed.
Fax proposals will not be accepted.

It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that bids will arrive in the SESC office prior to the scheduled bid opener. Late submissions will not be accepted and will remain unopened.

Quality Assurance:
A signed Memorandum of Understanding/ Agreement (MOU / MOA) between the successful bidder and the SESC will be required. This agreement will establish roles and responsibilities and ensure adherence to project guidelines. The successful bidder must be prepared to comply with and assist the SESC in complying with the West Virginia State Board of Education Policies.
