Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia and the ordinances of the City of Mount Hope, West Virginia, regarding the closing, removing or demolition of dwellings determined to be unsafe, unsanitary, dangerous, unfit for human habitation and detrimental to the public welfare, that the Mount Hope City Council authorized the demolition
of structures and claims a lien to secure the repayment of the sum of Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and Forty-Seven Cents ($20,994.47) to the City of Mount Hope upon your interest in and on that certain lot or parcel of land situate at 401 Hodges Lane, in the City of Mount Hope, Fayette County, West Virginia, and being more particularly described as Lots 55 & 56, Colorado Addition, Block 7, Warner, District 8, Map 5, Parcels 194 & 195.
And being the same property transferred to you on April 6, 2017, in Fiduciary Book 28, at page 744, from Winston Lee Woodson, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Fayette County, West Virginia. The demolition and removal of the structures is
now complete.
For the cost of removing and demolishing the vacant, unsafe, dangerous, and unhealthy dwellings situate thereon was $20,000.00 and related administrative costs of $994.47. For a total cost of $20,994.47.
