Notice is hereby given that GILBERT MINE, INC, 302 SOUTH JEFFERSON STREET, ROANOKE, VA 24011 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 14.9 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O301313 to Other – Haulroad Only in the N/A seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributaries of/and Reedy Branch of Upper Guyandotte River of Ohio River and is located 2.0 miles, South of Coal Mountain in Clear Fork District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 43′ 55″ and Latitude 37o 38′ 3″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
