Notice is hereby given that WYOMING EAGLE, LLC, 520 FORSYTHE ROAD, SUITE 102, BRISTOL, VA 24202-4341 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number S501019 in order to change the post mining land use of 14.70 acres from Forestland to Industrial/Commercial and for experimental practices to leave highwall to help facilitate construction of the Coalfields Expressway. The revised permit will discharge into Unnamed Tributaries of/and Still Run, Bower Branch of Still Run, Bearpen Branch of Still Run, Unnamed Tributaries of/and the Guyandotte River all of the Guyandotte River of Ohio RV and is located 2.38 (miles), Northwest of Itmann in the Slab Fork District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 25′ 36″ Latitude 37o 35′ 50″ (Coordinates from the USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 13, 2023 or thirty (30) days from date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until July 13, 2023, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
