NOTICE OF
PROPOSED CONVEYANCE
OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY
(Brackens Creek
United Methodist Church)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after June 22, 2023 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Trustees of Bays Chapel all of their right, title and interest in and to that certain lot or parcel of real estate situate in New Haven District, Fayette County, West Virginia, described as follows:

BEGINNING at a steel stake on Westvaco line; thence N. 13 E. 159 ft. to steel stake on state road line Rt. 41; thence N. 49 E. 14 ft. to steel peg; thence S. 43 W. 146 ft. to steel pin; thence S. 60 W. 27 feet to beginning corner, containing 7396 ft., more or less

And being the same property conveyed to Herbert Blagg etals, Trustees of the Brackens Creek United Methodist Church, from Morris E. Ramsey etux by Deed dated October 28, 1982, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Fayette County, in Deed Book 412, at Page 397, reference to which is hereby made.
Said Brackens Creek United Methodist Church was merged into and previously became a part of Bays Chapel United Methodist Church, which was closed on March 24, 2023, and its assets were purchased by the Trustees of Bays Chapel of Nicholas County.
