The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Mining and Reclamation, 601 57th St., Charleston, WV 25304, will hold a Show Cause Hearing starting at 9:00 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 on the 3rd Floor in the West Virginia Conference
Room No. 3100.
The purpose of this hearing is to show cause why Permit Number S302605 located near Cannelton in the District of Valley in Fayette County issued to Lexington Coal Company of West Virginia should not be suspended or revoked and associated securities forfeited by
Harold Ward, Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. This hearing was requested by Lexington Coal Company, LLC in response to Show Cause Order No. 2127. This hearing is being held in Accordance with Title 38, Legislative Rule, Series
