AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Holcim-MAR, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G50-C General Permit Registration for a concrete batch plant located on 322 Dry Hill Road in Beckley in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 37.80101 and -81.22492.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: PM of 5.90 tons per year (tpy) of which 4.08 tpy is fugitive, PM10 of 2.25 tpy of which 1.31 tpy is fugitive, and PM2.5 of 0.35 tpy of which 0.16 tpy is fugitive, NOx of 1.05 tpy, CO of 0.22 tpy, SO2 of 0.31 tpy, VOC of 0.02, Lead of 0.06 tpy, and Total HAPs of 0.09 tpy.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 10th day of August, 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
