Notice is hereby given that WV RECLAIM CO, LLC, 2122 LEATHERWOOD ROAD, BICKMORE, WV 25019 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 23.02 acres and has submitted an a pplication to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U028800 to perform underground mining in the Powellton seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Lick Branch of Lick Creek of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 1.6 miles, southwest of SWISS in VALLEY District of Fayette County, Longitude 81o9’12” and Latitude 38o12’33” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall indentify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 10-9-23, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
